Texipol® 63-253 is an inverse emulsion thickener known for imparting a very short flow to a wide variety of aqueous and non-aqueous compositions, effective over a broad pH range. Supplied as a low-viscosity liquid, it offers almost instantaneous thickening upon direct mixing into the composition. Its polymer, already in solution as the sodium salt, eliminates the need for additional additives to promote thickening. Texipol® 63-253 finds applications in wallpaper pre-paste adhesives, high build/textured coatings, water-based building adhesives, and PVA adhesives.
