Rheology Modifiers & Stabilizers

Tytan™ CA-B116 serves as a replacement for PU catalysts, particularly for tin-based catalysts such as DBTL, in one- and two-component polyurethane systems. Notably, it demonstrates compatibility with secondary alcohols, offering enhanced performance in various applications.

Texipol® 63-258 is an inverse emulsion thickener known for imparting an extremely short flow to a wide variety of aqueous and non-aqueous compositions, effective across a wide pH range. Supplied as a low-viscosity liquid, it offers almost instantaneous thickening upon direct mixing into the composition. Its polymer, already in solution as the ammonium salt, eliminates the need for additional additives to promote thickening. APEO-free, Texipol® 63-258 is suitable for various applications requiring short flow characteristics.

Cardolite® Lite 2002 is a light-colored, very low viscosity 100% solids curing agent.

Valida - S231C, 3% fibrillated cellulose in water suspension. It is derived from wood pulp that has been sourced from sustainably managed forests. The product is a multifunctional bio-based additive that can be widely used in waterborne coatings, Inks, and adhesives to provide unique rheological and physical properties.

DePHOS 8028FA is an aliphatic phosphate ester in its acid form, derived from an ethoxylated alcohol.

Afcona - 6225 serves as a dispersant and emulsifier for universal colorants, functioning as a color acceptance additive.

Pangel® B20 is a rheological additive derived from sepiolite (hydrated magnesium silicate), with its particle surface organically modified to ensure compatibility with medium and low polarity systems or solvents. It forms a three-dimensional network of particles, enhancing the viscosity and thixotropy of the end product. In epoxy coatings, Pangel® B20 offers the option for partial or complete substitution of fumed silicas and organophilic bentonites typically used as rheological additives, presenting additional cost-effective benefits in formulations.

Reolosil® QS-102 is a very fine amorphous silicon dioxide made by the combustion of high-purity silicon tetrachloride with oxygen and hydrogen. Relosol is a fluffy white powder and is used in many applications because of its unique properties: extremely small particle size, enormous surface area, high purity, and excellent dispersion.

Pangel® C150 is a rheological additive crafted from sepiolite. As a powder additive, it enhances system rheology.

Afcona - 6228 is a VOC-free and glycol-free viscosity reducer designed for universal colorants, also serving as a color acceptance additive.

Cardolite® NX - 2021 is a low viscosity multipurpose resin modifier and accelerator designed for coatings, adhesives, and other applications. Its long hydrophobic aliphatic side chain provides excellent early water resistance and corrosion protection. It enhances workability, increases solids content, and accelerates cure without sacrificing performance properties.

Reolosil® QS-10 is a very fine amorphous silicon dioxide made by the combustion of high-purity silicon tetrachloride with oxygen and hydrogen. Its unique properties offer advantages in many applications: silicone rubber, sealants, organic elastomers, UPR, adhesives, paint, ink, and free flow. It is used as a reinforcing, thickening, anti-settling, thixotropic, and free flow agent.

Cardolite® Lite 2020 is a low viscosity multipurpose resin modifier designed for use in coatings, adhesives, and other applications. It features a long hydrophobic aliphatic side chain of the cardanol molecule, providing excellent early water resistance and corrosion protection. It can be used as an epoxy diluent, allowing for enhanced workability and higher solids in formulations without sacrificing performance properties. It can also be used in alkyds, urethanes, and acrylics.

Texigel® 23-005 is a high viscosity aqueous solution featuring a synthetic polyelectrolyte. It serves as an ammonia-free thickening agent suitable for natural and synthetic lattices.

Afcona - 6530 addresses VOC issues, adjusting viscosity within the can, and enhancing anti-flooding and settlement prevention properties.
