BIOTREND® GA50 is a 50% Glutaraldehyde solution, serving as a potent microbiocide for managing spoilage, odor-causing, corrosion-inducing, slime-forming bacteria, sulfate-reducing bacteria, fungi, yeast molds, and algae. BIOTREND® BIT20-D is a 20% aqueous dispersion of benzisothiazolin (BIT), utilized to inhibit the growth of bacteria and fungi, including yeasts and molds. It serves as a highly effective biocide across various applications, such as preservation of latex paints, aqueous industrial preservation, polymer lattices, adhesives, joint compounds, and dispersed pigments like clays, titanium dioxide, and calcium carbonate. BIOTREND® GA50 is Zero VOC, devoid of formaldehyde, and does not generate MIT.

BIOTREND® DAZ 24 is used for the control of bacterial and fungal growth in pulp and paper mill systems. It is particularly recommended for the preservation of pigment, filler, and starch slurries and solutions. Latex coatings, and adhesives (starch, PVC, and dextrin), along with other papermaking additives, can also be preserved with BIOTREND® DAZ 24. Additionally, this product can be used to preserve broken, deinked pulp, or pulp held in storage. It is completely water-soluble and effective in both acidic and alkaline systems.
