Technical Details & Test Data
- Surface Tension Properties of DeIONIC 100VLF
The dynamic surface tension of DeIONIC 100-VLF is shown in the graph below as compared to two acetylenic diols. Included is the dynamic surface tension of DeIONIC LF-60MOD*, which also exhibits very low, rapid surface tension reduction.
- Foam Height & Draves Wetting in DW at 0.1% by Wt
The foam height of DeIONIC 100-VLF was determined using a modified Ross-Miles graduated cylinder shake test. A cloudy solution forms at each of the temperatures. Draves Wetting is “instantaneous” at 0.1% in deionized water at all temperatures.
- Surface Tension Properties of DeIONIC 100-VLF
The dynamic surface tension of DeIONIC 100-VLF was determined at 0.1% by weight in distilllled water using a SensaDyne QC6000 Tensiometer.
The graph below compares our low HLB wetting agents to two acetylenic diols which are commonly used as low foam wetting agents.
