- CIMSIL A55 G is a chloride-free thixotropic additive specifically developed to act as an anti-sagging / anti-slipping agent, CIMSIL A55 G fully develops its rheological properties by activation in the presence of cement or gypsum.
- It improves workability and visual finish in the systems to which it is incorporated.
- It is a low dust granular additive designed to provide high efficiency suspension properties.
- CIMSIL A55 G gives mortar, plaster and concrete the following properties:
- Thixotropy
- Workability
- Improves adherence to the substrate
- Improves pumpability
- Avoids both tile slipping and mortar sagging
- Decreases bleed and segregation
- Gives homogeneity and cohesiveness to the finish product
- Improves the surface finish
- CIMSIL A55 G is a thixotropic additive developed to be used in water-based compositions where electrolytes are present.
- It is a low dust granular additive designed to provide high efficiency suspension properties.
- Advantages of the use of Cimsil A55G in Tile Adhesives
- It avoids sagging of ceramic tiles applied with the use of cement based adhesives.
- It develops a synergistic effect with cellulose derivatives optimizing its performance in speed of properties development.
- The combined use of Cimsil A55G and cellulose derivatives, improves the slip resistance even with an unexpected incorporation of an excess of water in the mortar.
- It improves mortar workability based in the remarkable shear-thinning behaviour that is able to provide to the system during application.
- It improves mortar pumpability for machine applied systems.
- It will not modify open time or cement setting.
- It will not have any effect on water immersion, thermal treatment of freeze-thaw cycles.

- Instructions Of Use
CIMSIL A55 G is a thixotropic additive developed to be used in water-based compositions where electrolytes are present. It is a low dust granular additive designed to provide high efficiency suspension properties.
- Applications In The Concrete Industry
Main effects of CIMSIL A55G additive:
- Sepiolite based additive.
- High performance powder rheology modifier additive.
- Leads suspension of the components in alkali free accelerators.
- Reduces segregation and stabilizes mixture.
- Tile Adhesives
CIMSIL A55G is an excellent anti-slip additive. In addition the joint use of CIMSIL A55G and Cellulose Derivative improves slip resistance even with unexpectedly high water dosages allowing more flexibility for the workers with the water mix.
