BIOTREND® BP10 W

• Biotrend® BP10-W is a cost-effective, solvent-free, Zero VOC, formaldehyde-free preservative with broad spectrum activity for controlling aerobic and anaerobic bacteria and wet-stage fungi; compatible with most surfactants and emulsifiers in formulations.
• Biotrend® BP10-W, in contrast to many typically used biocides, is particularly effective in controlling Pseudomonas aeruginosa, a weakness of isothiazolinone chemistry. Biotrend® BP10-W can be used alone or in combination with other biocides for increased efficacy and lower cost. Synergistic activity has been reported between bronopol and isothiazolinones, and Biotrend® BP10-W is known to improve the stability of CMIT/MIT in the presence of reducing

• Biotrend® BP10-W is highly suitable for the preservation of a wide variety of aqueous based products due to its fast kill and broad spectrum of antimicrobial activity and good thermal and chemical stability. It shows highest efficacy and stability in a wide pH range of pH 2 - 8.
• Experience shows that compatibility with most products and raw materials is excellent, although compatibility testing is recommended for special formulations.
• In order to attain the full benefit of Biotrend® BP10-W, avoid use in systems containing reducing agents or secondary amines and avoid temperatures above 40°C and pH above 9.

Store in the original, tightly-closed containers, in well-ventilated, dry, dark and cool areas. Carefully reseal and keep containers upright. Protect from freezing. If frozen, allow to thaw and stir well before use.
