ASCOTRAN® HPB is a ready-to-use liquid antiflash-rust additive designed for all waterborne coatings. It acts as a hydrophobic agent, protecting almost dry films under severe conditions of ambient humidity. Additionally, it serves as a corrosion inhibitor for protecting metal packaging.

0.3 - 1.5% (for packaging protection.), 0.3 - 0.6% (on degreased steel, not rusted, sand-blasted or not.), 0.5 - 2% (on cast-iron or rusted substrates.)

  • In 2K systems: should be added in the resin part in most cases (to be checked with preliminary testing).
  • Any type of waterborne paint or coating, neutral or alkaline, for professional or do-it-yourself uses :
    • Paints, Thick-coatings, Varnishes, Stains, Mastics, Glues.
