ASCONIUM® 500

Amine derivatives mixture.

The ASCONIUM® 500 can be added to any type of liquid metal coating for industrial, professional or do-it-yourself use, primers or direct-to-metal systems. It has been specifically designed for water-based formulations based on acrylic, alkyd, epoxy and PU binders, both pigmented and clear-coatings. It is suitable for ferrous and non-ferrous substrates.
The ASCONIUM®-500 is easy to incorporate into the paint formulation, without any pre-dilution into a solvent or pre-neutralization with an amine.
It can be indifferently added to the mill-base or the let-down stage. A post-addition is also possible. In 2K Epoxy coatings, the additive should be added to the hardener part.

• Plastic pail of 26kg net.
• Metal drum of 185kg net.

No specific condition for transport. Weight and packaging size (off-pallet) :

• Pail : 1.5kg - Ø30, H50
• Drum : 15kg - Ø60, H90

• Ideal temperature conditions: -5 to 30°C.
• Exposure : avoid direct exposure to sunlight.
• Important recommendation : close the container tightly after each use.
• Expiration : 24 months in its original sealed drum, in the storage conditions described above. With time, the colour of the product may turn darker, but it does not modify its properties.
