Dosage Information
  • Depending on the system, will be added during the dispersion step (mill-base), or will be added into the let- down.
  • When it replaces anticorrosion pigments, the reduced PVC should be balanced with the fillers used in the paint formulation.
  • In 2K systems: should be added to the resin part for PU coatings, to the hardener for epoxy coatings (compatibility to be checked with preliminary testing).
  • Indicative use dosages (% of total coating weight) : 1.5 to 3% when used as sole anticorrosion agent. 0.8 to 2% when used in synergy with other anticorrosion agents.
