Afcona 2763

Afcona-2763 prevents the formation of foam and blisters during manufacturing and application. It offers good defoaming while being compatible with most resin systems. It is recommended for medium viscosity applications applied by spray and brush.

Afcona - 2763 is recommended for brush and conventional spray application. It is also suitable for:

• Epoxy, either solvent-based or solvent-free
• Polyurethane systems for wood, plastic, flooring and car refinish
• Airless spray coatings
• Heat-cured paints for general industrial
• UV curing systems, especially acrylate epoxy
• High-viscosity systems

Add Afcona-2763 at 0.1 - 0.7% based on total formulation. Under normal conditions, 0.2 – 0.5% based on total formulation is sufficient.

To prevent foaming, Afcona-2763 may be added prior to processing. If it is added to the finished product, care must be taken to ensure uniform distribution.
