Afcona – 2590 is a pre-emulsification water based silicone defomer. It can be easily prepared to water-born coating systems. It also can easily move to the surface and destroy the surface air- bubbles in high viscosity systems. It is also suit for airless spray and roller to destroy small blisters.

Afcona – 2590 is recommended for below systems:
- All water-based industrial paints.
- Water-based inks.
- Water-based pigment concentrates.
Note: If added at the end of process, well mixing is needed.
- Addition and Dosage
0.1 – 2.0% on total formulation. In general at normal condition, the dosage is 0.2 – 1.0%. formulation with pigment, the dosage is 0.3- 0.8%.
- Incorporation
Afcona-2590 can be added at any stage during the production process. And shear force dispersing is needed.
