An effective defoamer and deaerator. Prevents the formation of foam and blisters during manufacturing and application. It has a very good compatibility compared with good defoaming and deaeration properties and therefore it is very suitable for clear coat applications.

- Very universal in use.
- Recommended for most of the water-based systems, especially clear applications.
- For use in grinding/mill bases Afcona-2502 or Afcona-2503 are better options. Can then be used as a post-additive.
- Addition and Dosage
0.2 – 1.0% on total formulation. In general, under normal conditions, the dosage is 0.5% based on total formulation.
- Incorporation
Can be incorporated prior to processing. If added subsequently, good dispersion must be ensured.
